We use it with our own students.
Their experience helps us see where a question or explanation can be clearer.
Scorly began inside Themelios Education. We wanted our students to have a better place to practice ACT-style tests, so we built one. Our teachers and students have been helping us improve it ever since.
They needed to practice the clock, the screen, and the decisions that happen during a test.
Our teachers could give students good questions, but the testing experience still felt unfamiliar. A worksheet could not teach a student when to move on, how to review flagged questions, or what a timed section actually feels like.
So we built Scorly for the students we already worked with. Once they started using it, they showed us what was clear, what was awkward, and what needed another pass.
A question can look fine on paper and still trip students up for the wrong reason.
Their experience helps us see where a question or explanation can be clearer.
Sometimes the issue is the skill. Sometimes it is our wording. We need to know the difference.
It helps students understand why the answer is correct and how to approach a similar question next time.
Student and teacher feedback helps us choose what to improve and what content to add.
It began as an internal tool for the students and teachers we work with.
Students and families do not need to be enrolled with Themelios to use Scorly. The product is now available to everyone, while the same students and teachers who helped shape it continue to influence what we improve.
Questions and feedback can be sent to [email protected] through the Help & feedback page.
Some test types have fewer practice options than others. We would rather say that plainly than publish a large pile of questions our teachers have not checked.
Take a few sample questions, start a practice test, and tell us what you think.
